I am Dr. Kalimullah Lone , a researcher by training, an educator by passion, a technologist by profession, and a public servant by conviction.
Born in the valleys of Jammu & Kashmir, I grew up witnessing a world full of resilience, yet marked by neglect. That reality shaped my journey, from the lecture halls of universities to the heart of public life.
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Srinagar, where I specialized in Machine Learning, IoT, and Fog Computing. My research is rooted in impact, building intelligent systems for disease prediction, public health modeling, and resource optimization in underserved regions.
As a Senior Research Fellow and Guest Faculty at NIT Srinagar, I’ve mentored aspiring engineers and data scientists in the fields of AI, Big Data, Cloud Systems, and Python Programming. I believe the classroom is a battlefield of hope and a place where the future is written. But beyond technical excellence, I seek meaningful transformation, where technology uplifts lives and not just profits.
In 2024, I contested the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Elections from the Langate Constituency — not as a career politician, but as a citizen answering the call of his people. My campaign was rooted in truth, transparency, development, and digital empowerment.
I stood to represent those who have long been unheard, to give voice to their struggles, their hopes, and their rightful place in the conversation. My candidacy was not about power, but responsibility, the responsibility to carry the voice of the people into policy.
Though I did not win, the movement we started lives on: stronger, clearer, and more committed than ever.
To teach, to build, to speak, and to serve, with integrity, compassion, and relentless belief in justice.
Whether in classrooms, data labs, or public forums, my mission is the same: to build a future where knowledge serves people, and leadership means responsibility, not privilege.
